Mud Gas Separator Arrived Drilling Field
Recently, the mud gas separator customized by domestic customer has been shipped and arrived at the customer’s drilling field. It will be put into use connected with other drilling rig system. Mud gas separator is the first stage safety equipment in modern drilling operations. It’s designed to provide effective separation of the mud and gas circulated from the well by venting gas and returning mud to the tank. It is mainly used to remove big bubbles with the diameter of ≥Φ3mm, most of which are the expanded gas filled in drilling fluids.
Mud gas separator arrived customer’s drilling field.
This mud gas separator was manufactured according to our client’s own design. Its model is the same with TRZYQ800 with treating capacity 180m3/h. Main body diameter is 800 mm. Inlet pipe is DN100mm, outlet diameter is DN150mm, meanwhile gas discharge pipe is DN200mm. It is designed with a skid added to the side to facilitate field use. TRZYQ series mud gas separator combined with the flare ignition device can be used to ensure drilling process smoothly. Our separator is divided into normal pressure separator and pressure auto-control separator according to the pressure.

Mud Desilter Shipped to Middle East
At this week, TRCN100-4N mud desilter was complete the final assembly and production. It is ready to be shipped to the port for delivery to our Middle East Client. This desilter is used to drill geothermal wells. It will filter slurry and sand of drilling mud. The filtered mud will be injected into the wellhead directly after adding the chemicals through mud hopper to achieve the result of recycling.
TRCN100-4N mud desilter was complete for Middle East client.
The main element of mud desilter is cyclones. We use 4pcs 4” polyurethane cyclones for this desilter according to our client capacity requirement 60 m3/h. Motor power is 0.4kw with explosion-proof standard. Working pressure is 0.25～0.4mpa. Diameter of slurry inlet is DN100mm, and the slurry outlet is DN125mm. Separation point is 15μm～44μm. It is matched with bottom shaker TRZS60. Currently mud desilter is widely used in industries like oil & gas drilling, horizontal directional drilling, tunnel construction, microtunnelling, geothermal well, coal bed gas and so on.
