How to select centrifugal pump?
Centrifugal pump is ideal corollary equipment to provide power for desander, desilter and jet mud mixer. It also can fill mud pump and replenish wellhead in drilling process. Most of its parts can be exchangeable. It has advantages of reliable operation, easy maintenance, little shaft seal leakage, and long service life.

How to select centrifugal pump?
- Firstly, determine how much capacity of the centrifugal sand pump, which equipment matched with centrifugal pump needs capacity. Generally the capacity of centrifugal pump we select should be a bit larger than capacity of its matched equipment. There is a valve on the centrifugal pump outlet for regulating flow rate it requires;
- Secondly, ensure how much lift the centrifugal pump needs. Selecting a centrifugal pump which has higher lift , since loss of pipeline is very large.
- Lastly, if using centrifugal pump for supplying mud to the desander and desilter, we must choose a larger capacity centrifugal pump. Because desander and desilter require very strict for the pressure. If the capacity of centrifugal pump is too small for supplying desander and desilter, its pressure is insufficient, thus affecting the working effect of desander and desilter.
